KENWOOD KT-6040 CERAMIC FILTERS

Three bandwidth settings are provided: wide, normal, narrow
WIDE uses filters CF1, CF2
NORMAL uses CF1, CF3, CF4
NARROW uses CF3, CF4, CF5, CF6, CF7, CF8, plus L19
IF Transformers L8 + L38 are used on all settings

The original filters used in the 6040 are as follows:

CF1+2  260kHz  marking E10.7P, type SFE10.7MP3-A    -> 
(New designation SFELA10M7GALP03-B0)
E10.7P spec. 250±50kHz @ 3dB, 650max @ 20dB

CF3+4  170kHz  marking 10.7SB, type SFE10.7MS2B10-A
(New designation SFELA10M7GAB0-B0)

CF5-8  150kHz  marking 10.7JB, type SFE10.7MJB10-A

My recommendation when changing the filters for dx use,
is to use 110kHz types for CF1 + CF2
and 80 or 110kHz types elsewhere. Using the 80's gives:
WIDE 2×110 - wide enough for good audio quality
NORMAL 1×110 + 2×80 - good compromise for dx
NARROW 6×80 - best possible adjacent-channel rejection, moderately poor quality
